The first Big Love and the launch of the Emma Insley Aerial Creation Fund was a huge success.
About 200 people joined us in Suffolk for a fabulous event. They enjoyed a first-class cabaret; fabulous food; breathtaking fireworks and all manner of fun and frolics - only those of us present know how much the fabulous Mr Thom actually weighs!
How much did we raise?
Everyone who attended the event and a few of those who didn’t showed huge support for the fund. Everyone ate, drank, cheered, clapped, bought raffle tickets, bid in the auction and just dug deep to donate lots of money.
People handed over their hard earned cash at the cake stall, the hog roast and salad bar, when buying a jar of Suffolk Honey, hitting coconuts in the shy, making a wish in the wishing well, by guessing what Gron-Weighs (!), choosing a picture from the gallery, buying a Big Love heart, a badge or a raffle ticket, having their photos taken in the Victorian photo booth, bidding in the auction, getting a round or two in at the bar, and last but not least donating to the fantastic cabaret.
THANK YOU to all of you who came and enjoyed Big Love.
We have been humbled by how supportive and generous everyone has been with their time, energy and money. Without this help and encouragement the Emma Insley Aerial Creation Fund and the event Big Love just wouldn’t be possible.
This is our chance to name a few names and say a big THANK YOU to you everyone who helped. You have made everything possible over the last months and weeks and have also possibly helped the careers of a few aerialists get off the ground in the future!
